Large UNUSUAL BEETLE LARVAE & Rove Beetle Fossil BALTIC AMBER 3261

Baltic amber stone with fossil insect - large unusual beetle larvae and adult rove beetle Staphylinidae, probably Aleocharinae Myllaena. Large larvae must be some Scirtidae or Cantharidae, also Lampyridae or other from elateroid family.

It weighs 2.9 grams. Measurements of stone 34x22x6mm, length of larvae 6.3mm, adult insect body and head ~ 2mm, plant splint ~ 6.8mm.
