RHAGIONIDAE Metamorphozis Just Emerged Fly BALTIC AMBER 2309

Baltic amber stone with fossil insects - Rhagionidae probably Symphoromyia, just after emerging from pupae with unfolded wings - very rare action.

It weighs 2 grams. Measurements of stone 23x21x6mm, length of snipe fly body and head ~ 5.1mm.
