BOSTRICHIDAE Rhyzopertha Twig Borer Beetle BALTIC AMBER 1866

Baltic amber stone with fossil insect - very rare branch and twig borer beetle Bostrichidae, probably Rhyzopertha.

It weighs 0.6 grams. Measurements of stone 21x9x5mm, length of insect body and head ~ 2.6mm.
